Dear Colleagues,
It gives us pleasure to invite you to the 11th Global Youth Forum „YOUTH POWER FOR THE COMMON FUTURE“ with the main topic YOUTH LEADERSHIP FOR SYSTEM CHANGE TO SAVE THE EARTH FOR ALL organized by the European Center for Peace and Development of the University for Peace established by the United Nations. The Global Youth Forum should gather a large number of young people of different profiles from all over the world who will make a crucial contribution to the creation of a model of a sustainable world, based on strengthening cooperation, religious, racial and cultural tolerance, as key factors for world peace and stability.
The Global Youth Forum shall be opened with keynote speeches by H.E. Prof. Dr. Federico Mayor, President of the ECPD Council and long-standing Director General of UNESCO, Prof. Dr Francisco Rojas, Rector of the UN University for Peace, Dr. Ouided Bouchamaoui, 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, H.E. Oscar Aries, 1987 Nobel Prize Laureate and former President of Costa Rica, Prof. Dr. Jonathan Bradley, President of the ECPD Executive Board and Prof. Dr Arthur Dahl, Chairman of the Global Youth Forum.
The Forum shall be held in Belgrade on October 29th 2023, in a hybrid form. Participants are welcome to join the Forum in person or online via Zoom platform, either as speakers or observers. After registration, you will be updated with the Program and you will receive the Zoom link in a timely manner. Please find attached the Concept Note and the Application Form.
